Today is my last day of my Guest DT for Cute Card Thursday - I have so enjoyed my month with them! This is one talented group of ladies here! This week the challenge is Tic Toc - to use a clock or time on your card -
I had some fun with this card - Using another of the new Stampavie Sarah Kay images "Eloise and Mimi saying Hello" As said with every Sarah Kay image... I love this image! Colored with my Copics, then cut out with Nesties ovals.
For the card, the base is Bazzil Sugar Cookie, I love this color. Great with so many pattern papers. Especially this pattern paper - This is Basic Grey's Green at Heart - love the colors, can be used for so many different things. So I used three different patterns, and then I thought it was the perfect time to use Martha Stewart's picket fence border punch! I found some scraps of kraft paper and punched out two runs and sewed down the fences - And then sewed down all the other patterns.
Then I added a pretty satin ribbon, tied in a bow. Then for the challenge part.. I dug and dug and dug into my stash and found these great vintage watch faces. I knew I had them and I so wanted to use them! Should have heard me scream when I finally did! :0) So I pop dotted them onto the card, and then my sentiment is from JustRite. I am really loving these sentiments - love the fonts.
So that is my card - now make sure you pop over and see all the Cute Cards at Cute Card Thursday Challenge!
OH and don't forget my Blog Candy!!! Link is on the top right side bar - it ends Sunday :0)
Have a wonderful Thursday - Hugs and-

A Spoon Full of Sugar - Spots and Stripes
This week the challenge at A Spoon Full of Sugar is Spots and/or Stripes. Now if you are looking down at my card you are probably thinking... hmmm Spots and/or Stripes I see neither... LOL Well this week I get a failing grade at following instructions. You see I saw the challenge and somehow thought Stars or Stripes... duh....
Oops.. and I was so happy how my card came out! LOL oh well... here is my card - I love this image! It is from Meljen's Designs - don't you just love cute Teddy Bears? I colored this with Copics, then chalk for the background. Then high lighted with white gel pen.
The pattern papers are DCWV - Loving that Denim collection! I created a border with the new EK Success border punch out of a sheet of wood paper... yes you read that right, it is a piece of real wood!! Too cool, I have had it for a while and just didn't know how to use it, had to be something special you know? And that is how I end up with so much stuff. So I am trying to use some of these cool things in life, enjoy them! Really does look cool in person :0)
Then those "stars"... LOL sorry still laughing at myself that I read the challenge wrong! I used my Fiskars Star squeeze punch and then covered them with gold stickles.
The inside. Oh did I mention that I made this as an easel card? These are so fun to make, I used the same pattern paper for the inside and then I used a new toy? I found a Sizzix die on sale a long time ago... had never used it. And this card was the perfect chance. It is a pop up to hold a gift card! So easy you just run in through the Big Shot and then attach the inside of the card! Has a really wonderful slot to hold the gift card. I have "demonstrated" with my Discover card, which by the way I have taped over the numbers just in case.
I stamped this card with a bunch of my encouraging stamps because my plan for this card is for my niece - who just went away for her first year of college. So a gift card is always a great little gift to send a new college kid right?
Here is a close up of the pop up...
Now you can pop over to A Spoon Full of Sugar and see all the other DT cards who by the way followed the challenge correctly and did Spots and Stripes :0)

A Pillow Box - Love the size of this one!
Hello and Happy Monday!
Today I wanted to show you a pillow box I made.... well I put together anyway :0)
I love pillow boxes, I think they are just too cute. And a while ago I wanted to get a Sizzix die to make them up quicker. When I got my Big Shot Pro... that opened up my possibilities. The Pro size dies are SO much larger, (in price too he he) But seriously this box is so worth it cuz you can actually put a real present in this one! The finished size is 8 1/2" x 4 3/4" x 1 1/2" You can see the die HERE at sizzix.
This box has already been sent off as a gift and I put a large size bag of kisses in it :0) Now for the decorations. There are two borders one on each side, the are Martha Stewart. I attached them to the pattern paper, that I believe is Basic Grey... it was a scrap - so I am not sure there. I trimmed the paper and flipped it to show both sides of the paper. Does that make sense? The blue showing on the edge is the back side of the lights side. This is all wrapped around the box.
The image!! OH Love this new one. This is Stampavie's Penny Johnson's Chic Shopping - too cute! I would love to spend the day shopping with her looks like she makes lots of purchases! Even the puppy has to help hold the packages. All colored with my Copics and then high lighted with my white gel pen and glaze pens. I cut out with a large circle Nestie, and then matted with the same red card stock as the box with a scalloped Nestie, and then doodled around the image for some added fun.
Seriously this didn't take hardly any time to make and I think a fun "package" to receive a gift in don't you? I do think I will be making more of these! LOL I have too... makes the die worth the cost, even if I did get it at a great sale... still more than I pay for one die. But think how cute my gifts will be this year under the tree :0) HO HO HO
Well gotta run - very important day today! Last appointment at my ocularist today - will be another long day there, but just so worth it. The eye I have been wearing all month is amazing, I can see the difference in color and shape a bit, those that are around me a lot now say they can see it too... so getting the new one that is perfect will be ... well perfect!
Hope you have a wonderful Monday -

Animal Crackers - The babies get out and see the world!
Oh I am having fun with these babies... Let see running around here we have Lydia, Paco, Felipe, Jorge ( all 3 weeks to 4 months old ) Then Marisa the new girl not even a week old. Then the goats Jack and Jill... Loving it! I have really been messing with Jack and Jill a lot to make sure they are as friendly as my girl Lucy. They are so sweet!
These "kids" have had to stay in the barn. Lillie is a protective Mom - so they were really excited to come out and play - they even got to climb on the rocks and brick pile!
Look at that face! Jack has his Dad's ice blue eyes. His fur is just stunning, he is the friendliest of the two, but he is older by about 10 minutes so he is more "advanced" LOL
Here is Jill... she is so tiny :0) - These boards she is standing on are 2x6's to build a little box for them to climb on... I still can't get over how small she is, she is getting better and not screaming her lungs out when I pick her up now.... that first day I was deaf on one side from her!
I LOVE the look on Lillie's face here... that rolled up lip just cracks me up. She is a proud Mom :0)
Now here is Marisa! You would think she was hiding behind her Mom Patti... no Patti is blocking her. Marisa would run right up to me, if Patti would let her. Like Macie was with Jorge, Patti is very protective of her children, in a few days she will let her run free more -
You can see she a copy of her Mom. "LEGS" as Hubby is calling this girl, is really a pretty thing. She is just going to be a tall girl like her Mom.. hopefully not any taller than her! As Patti is one of our tallest and we would like a bit smaller girls.
And I am ending today with a GREAT photo that I got of Libbie and Autie together this week. I NEVER get good photos of them together, one is always chewing on the others ear, or flipping upside down or barking... you get the idea here. Well this one they were standing on the edge of the porch and it had just started to rain... they were watching it come down together... Too cute my babies :0)
Have a wonderful weekend :0)
HUGS from all of us !

Just Magnolias - Dawny's Sketch!
Friday! Just Magnolia's Day! Man... it has been a long week, very tired! Birthing babies, work, rain... whew! But it is Just Magnolia's Day so all is happy and good ;0)
I dug really deep into my Magnolia box! Found a couple of very sad images - you see they have never had ink on them! So I pair Edwin and Tilda up and used a background stamp for a scene, and it made me feel better as three stamps were used for this one!
After masking off and stamping all three stamps I colored with my Copics and high lighted with white gel pen. I wanted it to have a more vintage feel so I then inked the edges and across the entire image with Old Paper Distressing Inks. Really gives an older feel and mutes the colors.
Now the card - The base is kraft card stock, I so need to find more of this as I am running so low on my 12x12! The pattern papers, oh so yummy - You are seeing this Paper Studio Maribelle stack! I knew I had to have this as soon as I saw it! Now if I could just get these papers in wall paper or fabric for my Living Room! So I used the sketch, and lots of the pattern papers, sewed everything together. The sentiment is from Just Rite - you will be seeing these on my cards for a while as I got a couple of sets at the convention last week... Just loved the simple sentiments, and they are the perfect size to cut with my circle Nesties.
My flowers - These were white and bright red Mulberry Roses, So not the right colors for this card! So I dug out my Tattered Angels Chocolate Covered Cherries glimmer mist, and well.. antiqued them up a bit! They actually have more of a sparkle to them in person - here they seem to have more of a well... dead look! Why is it so hard to capture the real thing sometimes? Sigh... the leaves are Martha Stewart branch punches.
Now you hop on over to Just Magnolias, grab the sketch and see the other DT cards, then join us for a chance at another awesome prize!
Have a wonderful Friday and see you tomorrow for some Animal Crackers!

Cute Card Thursday Sketch - and a new Sarah Kay!
Another week of my Guest DT at Cute Card Thursday! Is it just me or has September just flown by! WOW! This week the challenge is a great sketch - and I took the chance to ink up another new Sarah Kay image -
This is "Charlotte and Pepé walking in the rain" Long name for an adorable stamp... LOL I colored with my Copics and then Stickles for the rain.
Then I went to work on the sketch. I just love the Basic Grey Cappella Paper Pad - Black isn't usually such a strong color choice for me - Not a first choice anyway, but this particular pattern paper I just fell in love with!
So my card starts off with a Sugar Cookie Bazzil card stock, then matted with sage green, and then a piece of light pink. All sewed together with a zig zag stitch around the pattern paper. Then for the band across the middle, I went with the new EK Success Lattice Chain punch. But it was lost on the pattern paper, so I matted it with the same green, sewed down of course. :0)
My image is cut out with a circle Nestie, then matted with the brand new Spellbinders Eyelet Lace Circles - they are really making it hard to not NEED all of these new dies!!
Then my flower!! This is one of the Heartfelt Creations Stamps and matching Spellbinders dies!
This is Innocents Flowers - I stamped with Versa Mark ink, then embossed with high detail black embossing powder, love the look.. but uh.. next time I'll color with my Copics first... the embossing powder, even after heated smears! AH.. lesson learned and passed on to you ;0) I then cut it out with the matching die, added some Martha Stewart Frond Leaf punches, and some bridal pearl centers.
I have been having so much fun playing with the DT at Cute Card Thursday - now pop on over there and see what they have done with the sketch!
HUGS and have a wonderful Thursday - and don't forget my Blog Candy! (Listed on the top of my sidebar)

Baby - Baby and another Baby!
OH my this is so fun! I was getting my photos ready for a post to schedule... A BABY!!! Yes Patti had her baby!! And while writing the post, Autie barked to go outside, and when I let him out... UH... I saw that Lillie was giving birth! And then she did it again! :0)
So first meet Marisa!! She is gorgeous - just like her Mom Patti, actually she is almost a carbon copy to her Mom :0) She is HUGE! Tall and long, like her Mom. She is almost the same height as Paco who was born way back in June! LOL But that is ok, we still love her and Dad has nicknamed her "Legs" -
Here is the traditional Day one photo with Dad... we were comparing this to other baby day one photos... too funny most of them his arms cross across the baby and their legs are rarely past the length of his t-shirts. You can tell he is really having to HOLD ON to Marisa!
And here is a photo of Lillie and her two babies.... for a while I thought there was going to be a third, but she has settled down and I think we are all done. This is barely two hours after birth. Jack was first, he is the adorable asleep buckskin one - and Jill is the cute little spot. You can't see Jack's eyes here, but he has Frank's ice blue eyes, I think Jill's will be the gold color like Mom's. I have held, petted, and gave lots attention to these babies already! These two will not end up skittish like Chloe!

Stampavie Star Gazing Accordian Envelope
Todays post is for both my Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge Post and my turn at the Stampavie DT Blog - love double duty!
I thought I would share a fun 3-D project I found recently. I went surfing the net to find something fun to send out something "SPECIAL" to someone.... wink wink... and found a great Accordion Envelope on Splitcoast Stampers - You can find it HERE It was really simple to put together, and I love the size of it! Perfect to store or send Stampavie images...wink wink...
I used Basic Grey Figgy Pudding papers to make the Accordion Envelope, love collections where there is no worry if they all work well together - you just know they do!
Then for the fun image I chose the new Laurence image Star Gazing, I love this image! But why do I always want a coke and a smile while coloring it? LOL Colored with Copics, then I used a Snow Pen to add some depth to all the white snow of the image. I roughly cut out the image and attached it to the bottom left corner of the envelope.
The edge of my top is punched with a Martha Stewart Doily Lace border punch and then a ribbon and large button for the tie down closure.
The inside is pretty simple I did make a couple of dividers -
I hope you liked it.. and I hope the person that it is on its way to likes it too? Now pop on over to A Spoon Full of Sugar, and the Stampavie Blog ;0)

Stampavie Challenge - Feeling like Fall!
Today is our Stampavie Challenge! Yea! And it is starting to feel a bit like Fall, so how about a Fall color theme! Love these warm colors -
For my card I used the new Sarah Kay image "Francesca in the winter field" I think she is just gorgeous. Love her scarf blowing in the wind. I colored with my Copics and high lighted with white gel pen. Then I cut her and a mat out with my Label Nestie. My papers are Fancy Pants Designs, I love when I dig deep into my stash :0) Lots of yummy papers I need to use more often. I sewed everything together with a deep orange brown card stock.
For the embellishments, I cut out some leaves with the Spellbinders Dies with Core'dinations cardstock, then sanded them. Some adhesive blings and a ribbon as well. A simple sentiment from Hero Arts completes it I think.
I hope that you will join our challenge - Feel the Fall with us and maybe you can win the "Secret Prize"... wink wink... it is really worth it!
HUGS and don't forget I have my Eye Candy Below :0)

Eye Candy!
Now please don't think this is odd... but I figured it was time to celebrate! I wish there was a way to thank each and every one of you for the support you have given me this summer - all I could come up with that was realistic was some Blog Candy... In another couple of weeks I will have my "final eye" and things have come out really well. I am feeling great, and gotten back to pretty much everything that I did "before the accident". Even having the "blind side" in my vision has a sense of becoming normal. So because I have been so blessed I thought it is now it is time to celebrate with some "Eye Candy"!
I went shopping at the Scrapbook Convention, trying to find a few things that I knew you would love and had a couple of things I have been saving special for you in my stash! Hope you like all that I picked out :0)
So what is in this really bad photo?
I found a booth at the show called Heartfelt Creations - they make coordinating stamps with exclusive Spellbinders Dies!!! So I got a set for the candy - The Posy Patch; 7 stamps and then 7 matching dies... Of course I had to get me a set too and with my new set I stamped out some of the flowers, colored them and cut them to show you how cute they are! Oh stacking them is even more fun!
Then there was a booth with lots of bling! - So I picked you up three different sets of flourishes!
Queen and Co. has some adorable felt border.. found two winter ones perfect for the season.
Two spools of ribbon - one with Happy Holidays and another with Happy Birthday.
In my stash I had a new pack of Time Holtz Grunge board in a dot pattern.
And then also from my stash, I have three Noel Sarah Kays from Stampavie. Noel Charity, Noel Eve and Noel Peace. I have been saving these since last year for some candy. I was sent a few by mistake last year and Heidi said I could share them with my readers as blog candy - So this part of my candy is a gift from Stampavie :0) We all love Stampavie!
Sound like a few things you might like to use? Well the rules are simple - leave a comment on this post. Only one comment per person please. That is about it :0) If you would like to become a follower if you are not already that is wonderful, but not required. I will ship world wide so no worries there - Random Number Generator will be use to choose a winner on October 3rd - The plan is by then I should have my final eye and I can show it to you all then as well.
Thanks again so much - all of your support is one of the main reasons I got through this!
HUGE HUGS!!

HUGE HUGS!!
Soggy Animal Crackers
A Late - WET Animal Crackers today! Sorry - When I got home from the Scrapbook Convention yesterday late afternoon, a horrible storm was blowing in, really blowing in hard too! Whew, was great practice for my driving on the highway though :0) So I had to get up early this morning and get out there and take my photos this morning.
Now it was still a bit dark when I went out at first, so this isn't a great photo -but Oh how I love it! I just had to show it off to you.. Daddy had just put out some fresh hay, and how funny is it that the Moms and their kids were sided correctly at the fence? Felipe is only a couple of weeks older than Jorge, but look at the size difference, but look at their Moms. Same thing ;0) Jazz is one of our larger donkeys, Macie is a bit smaller (height not width.. LOL) These two boys are just adorable, Felipe is Mr. Personality, and finally Jorge is allowed to come and get attention too! He is a sweetie - he is really loving the under the chin scratches now that Mom allows him some room to roam!
Miss Lydia turned to see me, she still had a mouth full of breakfast, but she finished it up and came to the fence for a good morning. This little girl is really stunning in person, her coat is gorgeous brown and she has a beautiful mane.
Speaking of stunning - Chloe, oh my she is so pretty! Those ice blue eyes with that pretty coat - I just wish she wasn't so skittish. Darn it! But since she was born just a few days after my accident I just wasn't allowed to sit out there and play with her like I did Lucy and her brothers and sister. Now that group of kids are friendly! Next babies I will do the same, just makes me ill that Chloe won't climb up in my lap and let me love on her, she is getting a bit better and does occasionally let me touch her nose. Maybe in time.....
Now SHHHH we have some sleepers here -
Caught this one of Gato the other day with my camera phone... she sleeps in such funny positions. She likes her eyes to be covered so the light doesn't bother her. This is one of two of her window beds - she loves to cat nap in the windows. Usually the windows are open for her....
Another photo captured with my phone.. LOL if I had moved an inch he would have jumped and I would have lost the chance for the photo -
Oops he heard me laughing.. and flipped over. Don't worry he went right back to sleep, just not in as funny of position.
Well that is all for today! Hope they gave you a smile :0)
Got some great goodies at the Scrapbook Convention... so tomorrow I will start a Blog Candy!! Have a great Saturday!

Just Magnolias - Lace It Up!
Before we get to my Just Magnolia's post - wanted to let you all know that I have been asked to review another product for CSN Stores - If you don't know about them CSN Stores has over 200 online stores where you can find everything from cheap bedroom furniture to fantastic fitness equipment to cookware! I can get lost for hours looking over all the stuff that they have on this site. I have a gorgeous kitchen island bookmarked for my house - whenever my renovation gets done in the future ;0) But for now I am thinking about some more cute crafting organization - saw some really cute items - but I think I am leaning towards THIS :0) Too Cute!
Ok now to my card!
This week at Just Magnolias it is time to Lace It UP!! This means to use Lace on your project or to actually lace up your project. Me I tried to do both.. duh not to happy with the results ;0(
Now don't get me wrong, I love making these easel cards - but I never know how to get a good photograph of them!!! Drives me nuts and they never look right. And my Lacing - well it just doesn't look like I wanted it too - should have used the pink ribbon instead I think.
See - just doesn't look right does it? Sigh... I used a Martha Stewart border punch for some added lace to cover myself for the challenge. The pattern papers are Tilda Papers - love them! And I know we all love Wild Orchid Crafts Mulberry Roses - I spritzed them with for some added sparkle with Glimmer Mist, love the deep pink sparkle to them.
I got a chance to ink up two of my newer Magnolia images, love this background stamp with all of the roses! It is hard to see here, but each rose has a bit of sparkle to it with Spica glitter pens. Everything is colored with Copics - and then on Tilda's dress I use some Smooze - how gorgeous is that? Looks like it is a silky fabric.
Hope you will join us at Just Magnolias! Really great cards this week from the other DT girls I just didn't hit the mark at all this week! They did! And as always great prizes up for grabs!
So excited.. today is my girls day out to the Creating Keepsakes Convention!!! Whoo Hoo!!! Shopping for craft stuff - with the gals and then lunch out! ;0)
HUGS and have a wonderful Friday!
