Have you seen Sarah Kay's Elodie?

OH my she is cute, I just love that hat! I made this card one day last week... this week I haven't felt up to doing much at all. Man food poisoning really wipes you out! I don't know what I got, but I am glad it is now gone! I just feel like I have done 4 or 5 rounds with Rocky!

That is why I have a couple of emergency blog cards right? HA...really one of the rare times I have a card here that hasn't been shown.

She is one of the brand new Sarah Kays, that I have been having so much fun with. And guess what? There is a Christmas collection that will be released end of summer! And WOW just you wait until you see those!

For my card - I was in a purple mood as you can tell. Really went a big over board with the purple if you can do that. The pattern papers were a gift from a friend, so I don't know what brand they are, but they are sparkly and gorgeous! I used a EK Success border punch down the side of one piece, and some really pretty lavender velour ribbon as a band across the middle. The flowers are are put together with jewelry spacers and mini brads.
That background paper is just luxurious.. oh the texture is really unbelievable. It is from Canson Expressions and was a paper stack I got on sale a while back from Micheals.
