Another look at a NEW Sarah Kay...

Hello and Happy Sunday -
Whew yesterday was a long day! Hubby and I took MIL to the outlet mall up the highway for look for a few things for her vacation coming. WOW it has been a LONG time since I went there on a Saturday!! That place was a zoo! It seemed like there were millions of people there, especially in some of the stores we went into!! The one I wanted to go into was the Croc store. Sorry I love these shoes, especially some of the newer styles. This store is tiny and packed with thousands of rubber shoes. And well you have walls that say 9.99 and 14.99 for new style Crocs and there were lots of people there. And yes... I came out with some new shoes. :0) As did I gifts for my nieces and nephew, sister and Mom.

Anyway how about a card? A few days ago I played with another new Sarah Kay. This is Quiet Moments. How sweet is it? Really a peaceful image. Now also I want to let you know... there is another new collection from Sarah Kay that is being released!!! A Christmas line and oh my there are some gorgeous ones in this collection too! Including a Vintage looking Santa Clause!!!!!! You can see all of these new images at the Stampavie Site HERE and while there another new artist has been release!!! A second new artist in less than a month! How exciting is that! You must see the designs from Helz Cuppleditch oh I am so in love with those puppies.... well all of them are adorable!

Ok back to Quiet Moments....

My card - the image is colored with my copics and then inked heavily around the edges. I can't find who these papers are... I think they are My Minds Eye, but sorry that happens to me when I try and be good and use scraps up. I kept it more simple, the image is just to soft I started with a cream colored card stock, the two pattern papers, I used a EK Success Border punch with the cream card stock. I ran a ribbon across the middle with the SU ribbon slot punch through the image. The sentiment is also SU with their label punch. I just colored in the flower with my Copics and inked over it a bit. I doodled the edges of everything with white gel pen, then stacked up a few flowers with jewelry spacers. A bit simpler but I like the vintage feel.

Man there are just so many wonderful new images being released from Stampavie... the DT and I have discussed needed oh about 6 more hours each day to play with all of them. Sigh... the things I could accomplish if I did have 6 more hours in a day! Maybe I could finally catch up on things! LOL

Well better get my grove on... today is breakfast with the locals and the country cafe - Sadly we lost one of the older gentlemen this past week - a really sweet old man, I think he was 87... the stories he shared was wonderful. Guess this week we will be telling stories of him -

Have a wonderful Sunday -
HUGS and-
