Just Magnolias AND a new artist from STAMPAVIE!

Hello it is Friday and today I have two cards for you! Friday means it is time for Just Magnolia Challenge and also I have a card from a brand new artist from Stampavie Heltz Cuppleditch!!!

First lets "BUTTON" things up with Just Magnolias!! Yes today the challenge is to use Buttons on your project!

For my card I inked up the Tilda with Puppy.. poor thing had not seen ink yet! And because she was holding a puppy I figured this was a good chance for Rufus to come out and play as well...

I colored both of my images with my Copics and then cut out with my Fiskars kraft knife. My card of course started out with the button paper from I think American Crafts - I knew I had to use it! I have had if forever, and now was the time for it to be used. The other pattern papers are from Little Yellow Bicycle, with a green card stock base. I rounded the corners of each of the pattern papers, then sewed them all together, after inking the edges.

A orange satin ribbon seemed to match well, so I created a band around the papers and tied a knot. Four buttons to the sides of the Cloud 9 epoxy sticker sentiment, that is perfect for Tilda and her knew friend.

Now you must check out all the button creations from the other Just Magnolia Challenge!
And once again there is a wonderful prize!

Card number two! A brand new image that will be available end of Summer!!! And let me tell you this collection is going to fly off the shelves! This is a new artist for Stampavie and I can tell you the DT are VERY excited about these images - way too cute! This is artist Helz Cuppleditch, and this image is called "Ruffles Get Well Soon" Is Ruffles Cute...or what? But the poor little thing has a hurt paw.. so he needs to stay up on this adorable chair and get better!

Ruffles is colored with my Copics.

Now for my card - I am so excited I finally got to join in on a new challenge blog... well new for me! Have you seen "The Next Level Blog"? This is much more than a challenge blog, it is more like a magazine.. with articles, hints, tutorials and of course challenges! This week there is a wonderful sketch that I really wanted to use, and it has an added challenge to make your image have a 3-d look to it.

For my card, I started with a white card stock, then pulled out one of my all time favorite paper collection. DCWV Nana's Girls Nursery Glitter stack. I matted the circles in the sketch with scraps of light green card stock, and gel pen stitched them. I used my favorite Satin Ribbon in the deep rose color for a band across the middle, with a Get Well Soon sentiment. The flowers are felt flowers and leaves from Creative Imaginations, with Doodlebug sugared brads.

For the 3-d aspect of my image. I stamped out the image a second time and cut out Ruffles, the cushion and the two shoes - pop dotting them off the image. I hope this qualifies as 3-d :0)

Really a cool site, check it out!

Ok... gotta move quick! I have a little work to do for Stampavie, then the post office and the grocery store... I am having my monthly Crop here tomorrow, and I am just not ready at all! Hubby asked if he should bring the tractor in the house to help me clean off the table and get Libbie's toys cleaned up... he thinks he is so funny - not to far off by the mess I have here, but not funny :0)

Hope you have a wonderful Weekend planned - what you doing?
HUGS and-
